23 July Glacier NP. Going to the Sun Road. YES!!!! That is SNOW in July behind us. We drove both ways on the Going to the Sun Road. What an incredible park and drive. The lodges are beautiful. "Many Glacier" Lodge is not to be missed. Its the Alps in America. Very swiss like. Felt like another country. PBS did a special on Great Lodges. It made the list. We'd like to spend some time there in the future. It's only open 3 months a year.
