Bob & Theresa,
Aloha, Mahalo and yada-yada-yada! Welcome back to CONUS!
Thanks for phone calls, I have been too busy to do any yacking with anybody!.... (VP-66 CoC and personnel probs, Tenant issues in NC...)
I like your tales about the big Island. I am actually tempted to check it out now (never really considered it before).
Stay well and bless you both.

Hey Theresa & Bob,
Sound tired but good and probably happy to being seeing familiar faces like friends. Hope you enjoy your time with them.
We are doing okay. Veronica is doing fine and is definitely overworked at school and I mean overworked. I just wrote an email to all 3rd grade teachers expressing my opinion and you can imagine what my opinions can be (lmao). Anyway, she has homework every night of the week INCLUDING WEEKENDS. Enough of that I say. What it is is she has 20 spelling words each week that she needs to do various assignments to make 100 pts. - most assignments are 20 pts. Anyway, there is no way she can complete this by Friday and do all this work Monday through Thursday including all her other homework. I checked with other mothers and they said there kid too is doing homework 7 nites a week or the mother is actually doing it for the kid to get it done. Can you believe that? I am anxious to await the teacher's response. Stay tuned (lmao).
Other than that, same old, same old. Just getting older and greyer each day. I can not believe fall is in a week - it has been so hot and humid this past week that I don't even feel like putting Halloween decorations out but Veronica wants them up. I said wait until it gets cooler maybe I'll feel more in the mood.
Dad is doing good but working hard as usual and getting his usual 4-5 hours a nite. It's so crazy. He wants to get out on disability and his medical doctor says he has enough medical documentation but he should speak to his specialist which says he is fine - anyway he will be changing back to his other specialist because the guy he has now if he gets hospitalized that doctor doesn't even practice at that hospital. I say those doctors should live with him and would see that no matter what he does he needs those inhalers. It's sad but I guess they expect you to be 3/4 dead before they give you disability but Dad says he'll keep trying. I hope it works and he gets out of work soon.
Anyway, I talked to much again and took up enough space but then again I can always talk (lol).
Well, until later,
Love,
Theresa, Dad & Veronica
